Lets Go

This weeks challenge at Scrap Whispers was to use some form of ephemera. So this gave me the perfect opportunity to scrap these Disney pics of the boys riding in the Tomorrowland Speedway where they got a license at the end of their ride. I thought about doing some journaling but it's boys and cars, kind of self explanatory :) I used a sketch from Sketch Inspiration.

Let's Go Go

I have to admit I was a little worried about how the kids first flight would go. Jacob was making himself scared before we were even at the airport. He kept thinking it would feel like a roller coaster ride. I tried to convince him it was very similar to a car but he didn't believe me. He loved it once we started speeding down the runway! Autumn and Austin were excited to get on the plane and thankfully did pretty well for the 2 1/2 hour flight. Only a little bit of seat swapping going on. These pictures worked out perfect for the Scrap Whispers challenge FLY and I used a sketch from Let's Scrap.

New

This weeks Scrap Whispers challenge was to do a LO related to something new. These pictures are actually from last summer, but the new is it was the first time Austin swam. He was only 4 years old and he just jumped up and started swimming without any instruction. I used another great sketch from Creative Scrappers.

Tree of Life

If your like me there are always those photos that come out with some sort of flaw to it, but it's a picture you really want. Such as this one of our whole family in front of the tree of life. Of course it was raining that day and so water spots got on the lens. I was able to photoshop some of them but not all. So I thought I'd do something to the photo to take the focus off of it. I cut the photo up into strips and put it on a black matte. I used a great sketch from creative scrappers.

Celebrate your passion

It is a toss up who loves Tinkerbell more, my sister or my daughter. Thankfully they were able to share the experience together of meeting Tinkerbell when we were in Disney. Aunt Tammy seemed to be quite happy to wait in the very long Fairy line with us. I did this LO for the Scrap Whispers challenge of using a movie for your inspiration. I actually used the card board cover off the Tinkerbell DVD for the picture and name. This is another great sketch from Creative Scrappers.
