This weeks Scrap Whispers challenge was to do a LO related to something new. These pictures are actually from last summer, but the new is it was the first time Austin swam. He was only 4 years old and he just jumped up and started swimming without any instruction. I used another great sketch from Creative Scrappers.

If your like me there are always those photos that come out with some sort of flaw to it, but it's a picture you really want. Such as this one of our whole family in front of the tree of life. Of course it was raining that day and so water spots got on the lens. I was able to photoshop some of them but not all. So I thought I'd do something to the photo to take the focus off of it. I cut the photo up into strips and put it on a black matte. I used a great sketch from creative scrappers.

It is a toss up who loves Tinkerbell more, my sister or my daughter. Thankfully they were able to share the experience together of meeting Tinkerbell when we were in Disney. Aunt Tammy seemed to be quite happy to wait in the very long Fairy line with us. I did this LO for the Scrap Whispers challenge of using a movie for your inspiration. I actually used the card board cover off the Tinkerbell DVD for the picture and name. This is another great sketch from Creative Scrappers.

This was a challenge for Memorable Seasons. Create a LO using travel line papers on a non-travel LO. Not an easy task. I chose Cosmo Crickets Joy Ride papers and used them for these pictures of The Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin in Disney. I used another sketch from Sketchy Thursdays, a two pager this week. I've never been crazy about 2 pagers but with so many Disney pics 2 page sketches have come in handy.

I'm still having so much fun working with Bo Bunny's flower child line. It is by far my favorite line of the year. Here is Autumn meeting Iridessa. she was the first fairy we had to go to before we could move on to Tinkerbell. Autumn was ready to run right to Tinkerbell but once Iridessa started talking to her she got quite excited! This started out based on a sketch from Sketchy Thursday's, though the finished product was quite a bit different from the sketch.

Change is the theme for this weeks Scrap Whispers challenge. So I created a LO about how our trip to Disney changed us as a family. Our first few days were a bit stressful and we all had to work on compromising so everyone could do what they really wanted to do and have a good time. This trip made our family stronger! Another part of the challenge was to actually change an item used in the LO. I cut around the flowers of this gorgeous Fancy Pants paper and used glossy accents on some of the flowers to give them dimension.
If you haven't popped over to Let's Scrap blog hop you are missing out. So many great sketches and challenges going on. I created this LO for Sally's challenge. Both my sister and I have always wanted charm bracelets but never got them when we were little so she bought herself one and got me one for my birthday while we were in Disney.
