New Adventures

I pulled a sketch from Another Freaking Scrappy challenge that took me a bit out of my comfort zone but I was happy how it turned out.  I also used a word challenge from 2 Broke Girls to use the word new on a layout.

Travel Often

I've found a new site called 2 Broke Girls.  I feel that way quite frequently so I should fit in perfectly.  There first challenge was to use part of this quote on a page.

I combined this with a sketch from My Scraps and More bithday sketch-a-thon and came up with this page.

Boys Rule

The sketch from boys rule for this month was a bit of a challenge for me as  there were no layers.  If you have seen my pages you know I'm all about the layers.  I followed the basic part of the sketch and then added my layers in using stickles.

Sand sledding

I may never be done with my pages from our trip to Ruidosa almost 2 years ago.  Especially with all the photos I took at White Sands.  I used a sketch from Scrappin'n'Happy for this page.

Keep Calm and

and what?  Everyone seems to want to know the end of this lately.  Scrapbooking is no different.  The challenge at Grand Driva's Creative Corner this month is to answer this question, so here is what I came up with.  I also used a challenge for this page from Scrap Your Stash to use at least 50% Kraft and 3 metal embellishments.  The metal was hard for me especially on a boy page.  I went with a star pin, button, and a the blue metal pin at the bottom that I picked up in an antique shop about a year ago.  I had been trying to figure out what to do with it and this worked out perfectly.

stitch it

The boys rule February  challenge was to add a bit of stitching to your LO.  The only thing I use my machine on is paper, it never touches cloth.
