Sleeping Beauty
The last challenge posted for the Sweet Peach Crop Shop anniversary celebration was to use rub ons. I have a difficult time with rub ons, so I don't use them very often. This was a great chance for me to dig some of them out and use them up. The flourish, blue flower, and birds are all rub ons. I used a sketch from Sketchy Thursdays.
Thank you
It is the last day of the month which means coming to the end of Sweet peach Crop Shops month long of anniversary challenges. What a fun month it has been and I have loved all the different challenges posted over there. I think there are only about 2 I haven't done and the day isn't over with yet. This challenge was to make a thank you card. I'm not a big card maker but I'm happy with it. I started off using a sketch from My Sketch World, though it didn't really end up looking anything like the sketch.

Basketball
The wonderful month full of anniversary challenges is almost over at Sweet Peach Crop Shop, how sad. I've really enjoyed all of their challenges. This layout was based off of the latest sketch challenge. I decided to take a different approach to basketball pictures and stayed away from any sports lines, and instead used the For the Record collection. It definitely has a very different look from my normal sports pages.

monsters
Well inking is something I've done for quite awhile, but I'm wondering how I lived without misting. I love my mist and really need more. The challenge at Sweet Peach Crop Shop was to do a layout with misting and inking. The background paper has been misted with Maya mist and I inked just about everything including the monsters to give them a distressed look! I used a sketch from Sketch Inspiration.
May Kit Sneak Peak
I just love the May kit from Scrap Friendzy. I was lucky enough to get chosen to work with it this month. If you love Bo Bunny you will love this kit. This is just a tiny peak of one of my layouts I did.

With Love
I just love pictures of kids walking away from you holding hands. I wonder if it is because you can't see their faces so they can't grimace at you, or stick their tongue out, or make one of the many other faces they do every time I get the camera out. Since they are holding hands it makes it harder to run away too :) I found a new site for this great sketch at Design Dollies.

Going for a Ride
I think the kids enjoyed the dinosaurs outside of Natural Bridge Caverns more than they actually enjoyed the caves. You couldn't touch anything in the caves, where as the dinosaurs you could climb all over! I used a sketch from Sandy over at Scrap Friendzy.
Sassy Lil' sketches
I love scrapping with bright colors. It makes the layouts so cheery and fun. These pictures from the fair and from our summer trip to San Marcos worked great for the bright green. I did the Aquarena layout for a challenge at Sweet Peach Crop shop to use inking and misting. I misted the background paper and inked the edges of the circles. I used sketches from Sassy Lil' Sketches for both of these layouts.

Chill Out
Austin really enjoys hanging out with his older cousins. When we are together you would think he would want to play with the twins that are only 1 1/2 years older than him, but nope he always goes for the older boys. So far Morgan and Aeron are OK with that but girls are ranking quite a bit higher on their list lately so I think Austin may have to find some new playmates soon. This is another great sketch form Liz over at Sweet Peach Crop Shop.

The things that brothers do
I found a new challenge site called XOXO. The challenge is to scraplift one of their design team members layouts. I love scraplifts and there are so many to chose form there is something for everyone. I scraplifted a layout by Cheryl Whittaker. Her layout immediately caught my eye because she used some fabulous Echo Park paper and I loved the design. Not sure I did her layout justice but I'm happy with the result. This months prize is sponsored by Candy Shoppe Designs.

You melt my heart
The newest challenge at Sweet Peach Crop Shop is to do a layout that is out of your comfort zone. This is what I came up with. I love patterned paper and most of the time feel the more the better. So working with a very busy sheet of patterned paper for my background can be difficult for me because it means I need to keep the layout simple. In this layout other than the background patterned paper there are only 2 other strips of paper and a scalloped sticker. I highlighted some of the background paper with stickles to make it pop.

Sweet!
Remember when the word "sweet" used to mean something sugary tasting or a nice person. That is what I thought of when I first saw the challenge for Sweet Peach Crop Shop to use the word sweet in your title. But of course now it means lots of other things. Jacob has a fondness for that word so I thought it would be perfect for these pictures of him climbing the rocks at Garden of the Gods, since he thought these rocks were "sweet!" I used a sketch from Sketchy Thursday.

A laugh
A laugh is a smile that busts!!! How perfect is that tag for these pictures of Autumn. It seems lately I'm surrounded by little babies. I miss the days of cuddling those little ones, when they were just content to be held and cooed at and rarely made a peep. But they do grow up and I have enough drama with the 3 I have so I'll just have to coo at everyone else's babies because three is definitely it for us. I used a sketch from Bo Bunny for this Layout.

A Boys life
What could be better than a cabin overlooking the pond. It has taken quite a while for it to get built since Billy lost interest every time the boys lost interest which happens pretty quickly. It is finally done and one day I will get a picture of the completed cabin. They enjoy camping out down there doing all the boy stuff, of course they also take their computer with them every time to watch movies when hey get bored with the outdoor stuff :) This was for a challenge at Sweet Peach Crop Shop to use packaging. The packaging is the cardboard stars. They came off a box that my scrappy supplies were delivered to me in.
You Make Me Smile
Another wonderful day with the kids favorite people, their cousins. It is such a joy to see how much the kids enjoy spending time together. I used a sketch from Liz over at Sweet Peach Crop shop.

My Pretty Valentine
Well this title has a double meaning. She picked out her own Valentines this year and chose the barbie ones because of the pretty dresses they were wearing. But then of course Autumn is my own pretty valentine. I used a sketch from StuckOnUSketches.
Off We Go
So much excitement for that very first field trip and first time getting to ride on a school bus. No longer can Jacob brag about how he's been on a school bus and Austin hasn't. Now Austin has his own experiences on the school bus! I used a sketch from Stuck sketches.
So Many Scraps
Susie is celebrating her 5 year anniversary over at So Many Scraps and is offering up some blog candy to celebrate. Congratulations Susie!!!!!

Bunny Hop
Welcome to your 6th stop on the BUNNY{blog}HOP sponsored by Scrap-Friendzy! If you are following the links from the beginning of the hop, you should have come from Heather's BLOG. If not, and you wish to participate in the blog hop, please start at the Scrap-Friendzy blog HERE.
It is a tradition for us to go and visit the Easter Bunny at the mall every year. We have done this for the last 9 years since Jacob was a baby. Well we did have to skip a few years when he was scared to death of the bunny, and one year Autumn is there, but she looks absolutely terrified! I know we are nearing the end of Jacob's trip to the bunny's lap since he is almost 10, so I will cherish these pictures while we can still do it. The annual Easter picture has become the center piece of the Easter baskets. This year I decided it needed a little Easter flair so I altered a frame for the photo with the fabulous new Neighborhood line from Crate Paper.
Your next stop on the blog hop will be CHRIS'S BLOG. Don't forget to leave a comment here, and on each stop on the blog hop. Then, make sure you finish up at the Scrap-Friendzy forum and post that you have completed the hop. Your name will be entered into a drawing for a fabulous grand prize!
If you are taking the additional BIG BUNNY HOP CHALLENGE, my "ingredient" is to use at least 3 pieces of patterned paper on your project.
In addition to the BUNNY{blog}HOP grand prize given by Scrap-Friendzy, I'm offering a fun RAK too!! To be entered into my drawing, all you have to do is: Become a follower of my blog and leave a comment on this post!! Easy-peasy!!!

It's Raining
The challenge over at Scrap Fit is to use homemade flowers on a layout. I've made quite a lot of flowers in the past but decided for this one I needed to keep it simple since the layout already had quite a bit of dimension to it. I used my cricut to cut this flower out and then layered it with a piece of chipboard and a rhinestone. I used a sketch from Sketch Thursday.
Natural Beauty
I have so many wonderful pictures to scrap from Colorado, it has been hard to get started on them. It can be a bit overwhelming when there are so many, but I had to print them all because the kids were in big time posing mode and the scenery was so beautiful! This is for one of the anniversary challenges over at Sweet Peach Crop Shop. The challenge was to use three ribbons. I actually used four.
