We are creeping up to the end of January which means only a few more chances to take part in My Scraps and More January sketches. Here is today's sketch.
I just love the new Fancy Pants Timber Grove collection. The colors work so well with my photos from Durango last year.
Come play along with all the wonderful January sketches.
I loved this sketch, it seems I'm always looking for multiple photo sketches and they are harder to find. This one is from Grand Diva's Creative Corner.
I was really struggling with how to work these photos into a page. They were so busy and the background was not appealing at all. I found a lift challenge over at Scraptastic club that was perfect. The page focused so much more on the different papers so the photos could blend well. This was a lift of a page by Nicole. Here is her page.
And here is what I came up with.
I also created this page for a challenge over at Scrap it Girl to include a shiny star on the page. I took a regular star and use star dust stickles on it.
I decided to do a bit of an angle for my page and it worked really well with this Simple Stories Daily Grind line. The background paper already had so many great elements to it.
Hope you will come and play along with us. You have all month to get the January sketches done.
Well I should say Chrismas 2012 is done. I set a goal every year to do all of the previous years Christmas pages over the Christmas break and I finished up my last one last night. So you will probably see me posting a lot of Christmas pages :) I created this one using a sketch from Sketchabilities and Rochelle's tic tac toe challenge. I used corrugated cardboard, arrows, and mist.
