I hope you are enjoying the summer. At Scrap Friendzy we are trying to savor every last minute of it. My challenge this month for you is to enjoy the pool. There are a few things you must have to enjoy the pool. You must bring your sunscreen, towel, sunglasses, and a float. Come on over to Scrap Friendzy and see what type of recipe that those items can create. I used a sketch from Sally Lil Sketches for this LO.
I'm in love with the August kit from Scrap Friendzy. It contained a lot of the papers from Simple Stories 100 days of summer line. It has been so great for my beach photos. This was in Galveston. I wanted photos but the kids were not to happy with the wind and sun to pose very well for me. I used a sketch form Twisted Sketches.
Autumn is irresistible! Even at her most annoying I have to admit how adorable she is and get to laugh at the dramatic things she does. I'm sure the drama will continue and it will become not so cute but I'll still love everything about her! I used a sketch from stuck sketches for this LO.
It is never possible to just get a picture of Austin. He always has to do a sign with his hands or give me an unattractive facial expression. Here at the Rainforest Cafe was no exception. I used a sketch from Frosted Designs and the color combo from ColourQ.
This weeks Memorable Seasons challenge was to do a LO based on your school colors. I went to Kilgore high school and our colors were red and white so it worked out really well that Jacob's baseball team was the red cardinals this past year. I used a sketch from Creative Scrappers.
I found out this morning after 6 weeks of challenges that I won the Last Scrapper Standing contest at Memorable Seasons. I can't believe out of all the fabulous layouts created I was chosen as the winner. I get to now be a guest design team member for Memorable Seasons and I won a $50 gift certificate to the store, woohooo!!! This was the layout I created for the last and final challenge, and it was quite a challenge because I do not create layouts about myself.
Scrap Fit workout #49 is up. I'm very excited since this is the first workout since I joined the design team. I'm not a big banner maker on my layouts so I chose to do a small banner as an embellishment along the bottom of my cluster on this layout of Austin's 6th birthday party.
And of course there is a prize for entering. This months sponsor is Tessa from Precious Paper.
Isn't that gorgeous! Come on over to Scrap Fit and upload your layouts by August 31st for a chance to win.
