February Reveal

The February kits are out at My Scraps and More.  I got to work with the "So In Love With You Kit"

I loved that the kit had a love theme but was not to themed for Valentines day.  Here is a LO and card I created with the kit.

 

Bonus

It was Bonus Challenge time.  Rochelle and her friends not only put up their individual challenges but the bonus challenge was to use all of the challenges on one page.  Here is what I came up with.

 

I used the December 21st sketch from Boys Rule.

 

The other requirements were winter themed, lyrics from the song Baby It's Cold Outside, and using glitter, washi tape, and chevrons.

It's a Scrappy New Year

I have gotten so much done in the New Year!!  I'm sure it has to do with being off work and being very lenient with my kids about how much time they spend playing on their tablets :)  I've been in search of new scrappy challenges and popped over to one of my scrappy friends blogs.  I saw Rochelle and a few of her scrappy friends have challenges on each of their blogs so I decided to do them all.

First off Rochelle's challenge was to use lyrics from the song Baby It's Cold Outside.  This was a hard one since I don't have very many cold weather pictures.  But I pulled the words "So Very Nice"  out of the song for this picture of Autumn and grandmas next door neighbor that she has adopted as another grandma.  I used a sketch from Creative Scrappers.

Next I headed over to GrandDiva's Creative Corner  and the challenge was to use a sketch you hadn't done yet from another site posted during January or December.  I used sketchabilities sketch #82.

Next up was Kristi B. whose challenge was to use chevrons, washi tape, and glitter.  I used a sketch from Stuck sketches for this page.

 

The last sop was over to Scrappin' n' Happy where Kerys challenged us to use a winter theme, which as I said I had to dig for because we don't get a lot of winter stuff here.  Thankfully I had just a few pictures left from tubing in New Mexico last year.

Top 10 of 2012

A lot of my fellow scrappers are doing their top 10 for 2012.  I thought this was such a great idea and thought I'd play along.  Here are my top 10 favorite pages I completed in 2012.  I made a total of 198 pages.  Not as many as I would have liked but that's life :)  In no particular order.
