Fun Games for Girls

Autumn loves puzzles and games! She would play them all day long if I would play them with her. I've tried leaning her toward the puzzle route so she can try do some things by herself. I used a sketch from Sketchy Thursdays for this layout.

Scrap Fit WWU#2

I'm always up for a challenge, so loving that Scrap Fit has added a new set of challenges on their facebook page. I created this LO using a sketch from Sketch Inspiration. We were at the time share with the cousins in the hill country last summer and 3 of the boys slept on the sleeper sofa. Apparently during the night another decided it was more fun out their than sleeping with his mom!

at the fair

I used to complain about the fair prices. You have to admit it is not a cheap place to go. Then recently Jacob went to an academic competition with GT at the fairgrounds and I found out the fair is the fundraiser for all the Academics competitions they hold and the kids who win get prize money. Jacob was quite happy with the $25 he won. So now when we go back next year we will not only enjoy the fair but it will be much easier to fork out the money for the enjoyment. This is Austin and Autumn enjoying one of the rides. I used a sketch from Liz over at Sweet Peach Crop Shop.

Little Mermaid

Finally getting back around to scrapping some of those Halloween pictures. Autumn insisted on being a princess this past year for Halloween but she had a very difficult time picking out which one it would be. She had originally wanted one that had a crown but then she fell in love with the mermaid costume and that was the final choice. I used a Bo Bunny sketch to go along with these fabulous Bo Bunny Whooligans papers.

Precious Moment in time

Is there anything cuter than a little girl with her daddy? I think it is hard to find something more precious than that. This was Billy and Autumn on the train on our way up to the top of Pikes Peak. I used a sketch from StuckOnUSketches.

Memorable Seasons kit

I just got my kit from Memorable Seasons in the mail yesterday and it is gorgeous. It is the Season's Sampler kit and is actually the February kit but I had her hold it because I was ordering so many other goodies from her as well. The colors for this kit fit me so well. So much blue and orange which seem to be very common colors for my kids. This is Austin listening to instructions before we went into Natural Bridge Caverns. Since he was so deep in thought on other things is probably why I had to keep reminding him of the rules to not touch the walls! I used a sketch from Crafty Sketches.

Happy St. Patty's Day

Time to bring out the green! The challenge over at Scrap it Forward was to do a LO that was primarily green, had lucky in the title, and was about something you were lucky or truly blessed with. I chose to share how lucky I am, and my kids are to have family we are so close to. We all love getting to spend time with my sister and her family. The kids love getting to be together and have so much fun on vacations when we go together, like this trip to the Hill Country visiting Natural Bridge Caverns. I used a sketch from Stuck sketches.

Hoppin' good times

Who would have thought a river could be that cold. Jacob didn't seem to care. He was in and out of the river and playing around the tube. He was just mad that I hadn't borught his ear plugs so he couldn't try to dive or do flips out of the tube. I used a sketch for the Scrap Fit challenge from the Scrappiest.

Scrap Friendzy Challenge

I just posted my first challenge over at Scrap Friendzy as a member of the new design team. My challenge is to create a LO that shows us the excitement in your life. And when I think of excitement I think bold colors, so let's see some bold colors too! This is a LO of Autumn when the characters came out on stage for the first time at Sesame Street Live. So come over play with us!

Sweet Thing

This weeks challenge at Scrap Fit is Glitter and Glam. Well I have no problem working with that. I love to use my stickles on everything and have a good selection of rhinestones to work with as well. I am really enjoying working with the pink and black papers from Echo Park. They work so well with my Valentine photos of my daughter. This is her examining her stash after her school Valentines Party. I used a sketch from Stuck Sketches.

Paint Ball

I love sketches!!! Sometimes I wonder if I could create a LO anymore without using a sketch. I've become quite dependent on them :) I was searching around today and found this cute sketch from Crafty Sketches and it inspired me. This is Jacob at Church camp last year. He was so excited to go with his Aunt Tammy to camp, though it was hard letting him go for a whole week. He did not miss me at all :( Paintball was just one of the many activities he got to do causing him to not miss me!
